3D Robotics Drone Brand
3D Robotics is an american company based in Berkeley, California that was founded in 2009 by Chris Anderson (who is the CEO of the company) and Jordi Muñoz (who is the President of the company). Only about 20 people are currently employed at the company HQ in Berkeley including the customer service staff. 3DR is also a company respected within the drone enthusiasts community because of their products’ built in quality and performance.
Probably their best known drone is the 3DR Solo. It is an easy to fly drone that gives their owners performance and reliability. It is a good choice for those who want to buy their first drone that’s specialised in video filming. The 3DR website say about the drone:
“Solo packs over 35 sensors and 20 microprocessors into a rigid, lightweight unibody shell. All to bring you the easiest to fly and most capable aerial drone on the market.”
