JJRC X1 Quadcopter Low-Budget Quadcopter
The JJRC X1 Quadcopter aims to be one of those low-budget drones that can do wonders depending on what you are needing it for. And as far as I’ve seen, it lives up to it’s standards. At around $100 right now on BangGood, it has a pretty solid position in the low-budget drone market.
What is Bad?
The quad does a decent job in general, but it surely has some disadvantages that might put off some people. The first bad thing about this drone is the material that is is made from. It’s made from ABS plastic and it can potentially resist some light crashes and hits, but it will surely break at one point or another.
Another bad thing is that it lacks some features, but this is to be expected. For example, the altitude hold feature is missing and considering the fact that you can mount some pretty decent cameras on this drone, that can be a big letdown. I’m sure that many people have some GoPros just laying around and the fact that they could buy this drone in order to shoot some videos at a low price is just awesome.
What is Good?
The first thing that pops up in my mind by just looking at the specs is that this drone is very cheap and you get brushless motors. The D1806 – 2280KV Brushless motors with 6 inch propellers sure are capable of lifting. The drone has enough lifting power in order to take on most of the cameras that you can find. The power of these brushless motors make the drone very wind-resistant. The battery that powers this little beast is a 7.4V 1300mAh Li-Po and it can provide enough juice in order to have a flight time of around 14 minutes.
Another good thing is flight range. It can go at a distance of up to 400 meters before seeing interruptions. Sadly, you don’t get an LCD screen in order to see some stats at least, but that may not bother you that much.
The drone is quite agile since it benefits from a lot of power and it is also quite fast. So this can be a very useful drone for beginners to learn to fly.

The JJRC X1 truly is a good budget quadcopter and I think it probably is one of the best drones out there at this price. So if you don’t mind spending $189.90 in order to try this drone, then this is a very good drone for you. It accomplishes more than most of the similar-priced drones and it can even be used for shooting pictures or videos.
