Just finished Building Multicoptor Video Drones I thought it was excellent especially. For someone like me who want to build their first multicoptor. Best of all it goes into enough detail for an actual building without bogging you down too much detail. I made it through the book surprisingly fast. Covers all major components and systems to build a multicoptor for airframes, engines, propellers, SER, guidance systems, gimbals and transmitters contain. the book also highlights FPV (First Person View) gear as well as camera flying techniques. Although the book walks the reader by means of a building for a particular hexacoptor, the same concepts and many of the same components can be applied to just about any multicoptor. I also liked the introduction to the online Multicopter Calculator to customize your design and to maximize the optimization of the many options for component selection on the run. Just the right amount of theory and practical knowledge needed in this hobby / profession seriously through a calculation build-your-own route. But understand this is a book for the serious enthusiast or someone who wants to build their own multicoptor for aerial photography or video. It requires some basic mechanical and electrical skills. But even if you have limited skills in these areas I think the book will anyone who takes their time to help follow the instructions carefully. Please also note that although you can save money and better value for your money building your own multicoptor vs. buy a similar setup, it is an investment in both directions for a quality craft. But for me, I also like the satisfaction of building my own and know how to fix my own craft as something goes wrong.

Well written and full of examples, security, etc. of an author was clearly on the way in working with these fantastic flying craft. There are a few things that need to be addressed, such as creating automated pages to be for some of us with aging eyes to see a little bigger, and what color presentations would have been nice …. but that would increase the cost of printing dramatically. It’s really nice to be able to organize an author as complex materials into something that could have come across a level of understanding of both the neophyte and professional . This belongs on every bookshelf lovers

This is utter nonsense. If you really want to understand and build multicopters look elsewhere. the childlike language of the book is written in is terrible, so the content and the supposed tips for “experts.” I am studying aviation and I have a build multicopter already and I’m about to build another. I have experience with various platforms and pre buildt setups, but if you want something to help you along the way, google delivers more than you will find in this book this is not even worth reading if it was free Sentence fragments similar to those found on the book.. “you should be able to get everything you need from YouTube and RCG”. As a final note of the covered content is outdated and has not been much interest to anyone new or expert.
