Design and build

The Wingsland S6 is a relatively small foldable drone, that can fit even in your pocket. It comes in three colors and each of them has a sports look. The arms on the drone are foldable and the propellers are loose, not fixed, this means that it won’t break so easily if you crash it into something. Just, as usual, the camera is mounted on the front, and next to the camera there is a small flashlight. On the bottom, there is an optical flow sensor and two sonic sensors.

Battery

The batteries for this quadcopter are 1400 mAh 7.4V ones,  and it can give 10 minutes of flight time.

Add ons

Wingsland S6

As you saw in the what’s in the box section there are 2 additional tools for this drone. The first one is minigun, it’s not dangerous, don’t worry. The gun can be loaded with some small cartridge which is similar to the ones it is used for airsoft. The second one is a Bright LED light, which can be useful if you want to fly it in the dark. And the last one is an emoji display that can display various emojis on the screen. These are additional tools and all of them can be attached to the top of the drone. The tools can be used via the app.

App

When you enter the app it will give you a lot of safety information about how you should use the drone for a better life. Also, as you may have seen, there is no remote controller for this drone, which means that you will have to control the aircraft with your phone. Overall, the app has a nice and user-friendly interface. But if there is still something that you don’t understand you check out everything on the support page.

Also, the app has some built-in editing features so you can modify your videos even on your phone and you can upload them instantly on your social media account.

Camera

The Wingsland S6 Quadcopter is capable of shooting 4K videos in 30 fps. If you prefer higher frame rates you can switch to 1080p at 60 fps. The drone has a built-in software image stabilization which will help smooth the video footage for you. The camera on the S6 is capable of 13 MP still photos. The video quality is pretty solid and the image stabilization did a good job but don’t expect it to perform like a mechanical gimbal.

The drone has a slot for a micro SD card so the quad is capable of onboard recording. The memo card can go up to 32 GB. Which should be enough, especially if you shoot in 1080p

Performance

As for the flight performance, there are a lot of features that you can modify within the app. These are features like beginner mode, selfie mode, flight speed (low, medium and high). Also, you can set the controller, which is your phone to be motion-sensitive. The drone also has some intelligent flight options like Follow me, which is very useful because this is a selfie drone.

And the other one is the POI a.k.a. Point of interest which can give you a lot of cool cinematic shots. The fact that it has automatic landing and take-off options shows that the drone is just perfect for beginners as well. Also, don’t forget that the drone is a GPS drone that comes with a higher flight accuracy. But the flight range is still just 100 meters.

Wrap Up

Potensic T3 Wingsland S6

The Wingsland S6 Quadcopter from our review is quite good, and it was built carefully. However, a more professional drone user will choose the DJI Spark over this because the S6 has some flaws in it. The first is the lack of a remote controller, which makes it worse your flight experience. The other is the small flight range, which is only 100 meters. But if you use this drone for only entertainment purposes then just go for it. It has some good specs, like the 4K capable camera, and the intelligent flight options. Not to mention the additional tools that can be added to the drone.

If you’re interested in the Wingsland S6 you can buy it from Amazon, Banggood, and Geekbuying.
