Eachine E010 Quadcopter Review
The Eachine E010 Quadcopter is a small nano drone that has only one purpose as you’ll see in our review, to make you enjoy drone piloting. These nano drones are very agile and it’s a real pleasure to fly them and the best part is that they are affordable beginner drones. For example, you can pick up the E010 on Amazon for less than $25.
These drones come without a camera, flight features or a long flight time, but it’ can still bring you a lot of fun regarding its price. The most favourable environment to fly this drone is indoors or outdoors when the weather is calm.
And when you feel that only flying the drone isn’t enough for you you can make your own little DIY drone project and transform this quadcopter into a Whoop. What’s the difference between a Whoop and a Nano? A whoop drone is a small upgraded quadcopter that has a camera, which enables the FPV feature. But let’s see exactly what this drone can do.

As we said it’s a small drone that measures only 9.5×9.5×5 cm, that has the size of your palm. The drone has a coating that looks like a spaceship. The drone can be bought in two colour options, an orange and a green one.
The ducts on the E10 around the motors help make it both quieter and more efficient. Not to mention the fact that they serve the purpose of a bumper, which protect the fragile propellers.
If you want to add a wireless camera on the drone you have to remove the top shell. There is the only surface where you can fit a camera nicely. Be aware of the fact that when you will add a camera on the drone the flight time will be reduced due to increased weight, which requires more power from the battery in order to make the drone fly.
The battery and thus the flight time is important when we talk about a drone. However, because we talk about a small drone, which can only bear a small battery which results in small flight time. The battery in this nano quadcopter is a 150mAh 3.7v which can give the drone around 4 to 5 minutes of flight time. The time provided depends on the weather conditions as well as on your flight style. For a small nano quadcopter that can’t take photos or videos, the time is right. But if you feel like this isn’t enough for you you can always get a spare battery.
The controller for this drone is just as small as the drone. Due to the small size, it won’t fit naturally in your hands. This may be a bad thing for people with big hands, but as I said the flight time is only 5 minutes, which is not much and anyone can bear it. Also, the material of the controller is very cheap and can be broken easily if you don’t pay attention to.
On the other side, it’s a very useful and responsive drone that comes with the basics, like the trimming buttons, a button dedicated for flips, a button for switching between the speed options. The whole appearance of the transmitter is very user friendly, you can learn easily the purpose of each button.
The drone doesn’t have functions like altitude hold, or optical sensors for a stable flight. And since it doesn’t have any camera it’s not that big of a loss. On the contrary, this way you can learn how to fly real drones without helping tools like altitude hold. Think about this like learning to park a car with and without parking sensor. But the responses are nice and the whole piloting session will let you with good flight experience.
The drone can also help you to learn some basics functions like One-key Return and Headless Mode. Besides this, the drone can perform flips in any direction. Just make sure that the drone has enough space to perform a flip.
The Eachine E010 Quadcopter from this review is only good for spending your spare time. It flies really well, but it can’t do more than that. It can make photos like a camera drone, nor grab things or shoot small cartridges like the Wingsland S6. But for $20 that’s acceptable. It’s good if you want to learn how to fly a drone, or if you want it to make as a gift for you a younger person. These kinds of drones can do no harm in anything if it’s flown at low speed.
If you’re interested in the Eachine E010 you can order it yours from Amazon.
