Rabing Mini Foldable RC Quadcopter is a mini-drone that comes with an affordable price, $40. Many mini-quadcopters are designed to be flown indoors, but some pilots want more, therefore in this review I’ll explain how this drone can compete with a regular drone.
For this drone, compactness is a main priority. The drone can fold and be stored inside the controller.
Flight Performance
Even though the mini-quad is just a little larger than a matchbox, Rabing Mini Foldable RC quadcopter has good features. Some of the characteristics are: Headless Mode, One Key Return and different speed modes.
If you don’t already know, the Headless Mode is a beginner-friendly mode that helps you fly the drone without having to worry about its orientation. Further, One Key Return makes the quad return to where it took off and different speed modes, lets you fly the drone at different speeds.
Durability
In spite of being a mini-drone, this mini-drone can fly outside, but keep an eye on the forecast. The drone is sensible to winds and a light rain can damage it.
Tiny, yet durable to crashes. Sometimes you might have to unfold its arms after a crash, but the drone will not take serious damage. If you want more safety, you can add its propeller-guards. They are recommended indoors, just in case you hit somebody.
Camera, Controller and Battery
Many mini-drones have no camera, but this one has a decent 1MP HD camera. The camera is not really made for high quality videos, but can be used to connect the drone to your VR.
The battery that powers the quad is a 3.7V 220mAh and needs 30 minutes to recharge. This little power-battery will give you around 9 minutes of flight, slightly less if you are flying with guard-propellers mounted.
